Warranty Policy

Ambe Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty applies to Ambe products purchased after 7/1/2025 from SotaFlame, LLC in the United States and is issued by SotaFlame, LLC.

1. Scope of Warranty

Subject to the exclusions below, SotaFlame warrants against defects in materials and workmanship (excluding installation) for the following periods from the date of purchase:

  • Fireplaces: 1 years
  • Logs: 1 years

This Warranty covers the repair or replacement of the defective part.

SotaFlame reserves the right to change product specifications without notice. All Warranty work must be preauthorized by SotaFlame. This Warranty is void if damage or defects are caused by you or any non-authorized third party.

2. Warranty Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Improper Installation and Misuse: Failure due to accident, negligence, misuse, unauthorized alterations, lack of proper maintenance, incidental or consequential damage, transit damage, and acts of God.
  • Normal Wear and Tear: Including paint, gaskets, batteries, and discoloration of glass or the fuel bed.
  • Minor Operational Noises: Such as minor expansion, contraction, or movement of parts.
  • Surface Finish Changes: Alterations to interior/exterior finishes.
  • Surface Damage: Caused by fingerprints, scratches, or melted items.
  • Corrosive Environments: Damage due to abnormally corrosive conditions (e.g., sea salt).
  • Unauthorized Products: Use of products not specified or authorized by SotaFlame.
  • Incorrect Installation Location: Installing indoor fires outdoors or outdoor fires indoors.
  • Building Work Costs: Costs to access parts or products requiring repair, including repairing altered walls or ceilings.
  • Travel Costs: Service call fees.
  • Subjective Issues: Noise or smell investigated and found to be within normal operational parameters.
  • Appearance Variations: Differences from promotional images due to printing limitations, environmental factors, or gas type.
  • Water Intrusion: Damage to indoor units caused by water.
  • Consequential and Incidental Damages

No dealer, distributor, or other person is authorized to extend this Warranty beyond these terms. This Warranty is void if the appliance's serial number is removed or altered.

3. Limitation of Remedies

To the extent permitted by law:

  • This Limited Warranty and the remedies provided are exclusive and replace all other warranties, remedies, and conditions, whether verbal, written, statutory, express, or implied.
  • There are no warranties beyond this express Limited Warranty. SotaFlame disclaims all statutory or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and against latent defects. If such warranties cannot be disclaimed, their duration is limited to the Parts Warranty period in Section 1.
  • Except as legally required, SotaFlame is not liable for direct, punitive, special, incidental, or consequential losses or damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or any other legal theory. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of use, revenue, profits, money, savings, business opportunity, goodwill, reputation, and any indirect or consequential loss, including the cost of replacing equipment and property.

4. How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a claim:

  1. Email Ambe support at ambe@SotaFlame.com as soon as you become aware of the issue.
  2. Provide the Ambe product serial number.
  3. Provide reasonable proof of purchase and images (if requested).
  4. If required, allow SotaFlame or their representative access to the product for inspection.

5. Warranty Claims Process

If your valid claim is not subject to the exclusions in Sections 2 and 3, SotaFlame will, at its discretion, either:

  • Send a replacement part.
  • Replace the affected part(s) with an identical or closest specification product if the original is no longer available.
  • Issue a refund.

6. Ambe Warranty Conditions and Contact Information

The terms "we," "our," and "us" refer to the SotaFlame.
